July

Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 6, 2026

July is built to keep your information private. We do not collect any of your data. Everything you log stays on your device — there is no account, no cloud we control, and nothing we can see or sell.

The short version: July collects nothing. No account, no analytics, no trackers, no ads. Your period data never leaves your phone unless you choose to turn on iCloud backup, which goes only to your own private Apple iCloud.

Information we collect

None. July does not collect, transmit, or store any personal information on our servers. We don't have servers that receive your data, and we don't require you to create an account or provide an email, name, or any identifier.

Where your data lives

The dates you log and your in-app settings are stored locally on your device using Apple's on-device storage. This information is not sent to July or to any third party.

Optional iCloud backup

If you choose to turn on iCloud backup (an optional feature), your data is stored in your own private iCloud account, managed by Apple and protected by Apple's encryption. July cannot access it. This feature is off unless you enable it, and you can turn it off at any time.

Purchases

Purchases (such as July Lifetime) are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. Apple handles all payment information; July never receives or stores your payment details. Your purchase is tied to your Apple ID, which is how "Restore Purchases" works without an account.

Analytics & tracking

July contains no analytics SDKs, no advertising, and no third-party trackers. We do not profile you or track your activity across apps or websites.

Children's privacy

Because July collects no personal information from anyone, it does not knowingly collect information from children. July is a period and cycle tracker and may be used by people of the age at which menstruation typically begins; it collects nothing from any user.

Not medical advice

July is a tracker, not a medical device or a doctor. Its estimates are based only on the dates you log and cannot tell you with certainty whether you can or cannot become pregnant on any given day. For health or family-planning decisions, please consult a healthcare professional.

Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes, we'll update this page and revise the date above. Since July collects no data, any change would only make our practices clearer.
